FAQ
Short answers. Companies and players have different questions.
What is this?
A weekly prize pool your product can share. You deposit USDC, award entries when users do something you already track, and we publish last week’s split. PrizeDistro pays eligible winners’ wallets directly.
How does the pool mix?
Every paid entry that week is a share of one communal pool. If you funded 8% of this week’s entries, your users get 8% of the week’s prize.
What do I pay?
10¢ per live entry from your USDC vault on Base. Deposit any amount. No subscriptions.
What is an entry?
One 10¢ debit and one share. Each award is weight 1.
What if I hit a cap?
The API refuses the award before taking money. A CSV that would go over cap accepts zero new rows.
What if I run out of entries?
Awards stop until you deposit more USDC. People already in this week’s pool stay in.
Do you pay my users?
Yes. After the week freezes and we publish the split, PrizeDistro pays eligible winners’ wallets directly. You get a clear statement of the week.
What does my user get?
A share of that week’s communal pool. We pay eligible winners’ wallets directly. They never pay us.
Sandbox vs live?
Sign-up is demo until you deposit USDC and click Live. Demo/Live in the app is the account switch: the dashboard and live API keys (pd_live_) all spend sandbox entries in Demo, and vault USDC in Live. Test keys (pd_test_) always stay on the demo pool.
CSV vs API?
Same awards. Upload a list of user ids, or POST one at a time. Re-uploading the same file the same day will not charge twice.
Chargebacks?
On-chain USDC transfers don’t reverse. If we have to freeze an account, settled weeks stay settled.
